  • 50.4 mm x 3 mm Baader RGB-G (490 - 580 nm) bandpass filter
  • Anti-reflection RGB-G filter (green) with extremely high transmission of the color channel
  • Suitable from f/15 to f/1.8

The new generation of CMOS-optimized Baader filters is characterized by:
- increased contrast, matched to typical CMOS quantum efficiency and s/n ratio
- Reflex-Blocker™ coatings, for the greatest possible insensitivity to retro-reflection from the nearest auxiliary optics, even under the most adverse conditions
- identical filter thickness to existing standards, with the greatest care taken with regard to homofocality. Homofocality
- blackened edges all around, with filter front side indicator in the form of a telescope-side black outer edge to additionally avoid any reflection from light falling on the filter edge
- each filter is individually fine-optically polished and coated, with sealed coating edge (NOT cut out of a larger plate - with exposed coating edges as a result, see more here)
- Life-Coat™: even harder coatings to provide an age-resistant coating over an unlimited lifetime - even in the most adverse environments

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CMOS / CCD FILTERS
The completely redesigned, CMOS-optimized filters work excellently with all existing camera technologies, whether CMOS or CCD chips. However, anyone who owns CCD camera technology will still be able to work excellently with our previous, extremely inexpensive, CCD narrow band filters. But "the better is the enemy of the good".

Features:
50.4 mm x 3 mm Baader RGB-G (490 - 580 nm) bandpass filter, suitable from f/15 to f/1.8
Anti-reflection RGB filter (green) with extremely high transmission of the color channel, which simultaneously reduces stray light and reflections to an unprecedented degree
Balanced RGB design allows exposures with the same exposure time when using the matching RGB filters - extremely important for automated bracketing
Reflection blocker™ hard-coated and plano-optically polished - with sealed coating edges (Life-Coat™)
Blackened edges all around, with filter front side indicator in the form of a telescope-side black outer edge
Optimized for modern CMOS cameras, also excellently suited for CCD camera technologies
