As Hasselblad's fastest lens, the XCD 1.9/80 offers a maximum aperture of f/1.9.
With its unique dual AF motor and outstanding lens design, the XCD 80mm has excellent optical surface precision and avoids poor bokeh results or blurred highlights often found in lenses with high apertures and aspherical surfaces. The unique dual motor drive of the lens offers fast autofocus performance as well as precise manual focusing The artistic potential can be exploited by X1D photographers for a breathtaking shooting experience with a field of view equivalent to a 63 mm full-frame Lens.
It is particularly suitable for portrait, nature and product photography with its ability to create a harmonious bokeh with excellent object release and shallow depth of field.

Like the other XCD lenses, the XCD 1.9/ 80 also has an integrated central shutter that offers exposure times from 60 minutes to 1/2000s with full flash synchronization.
