These binoculars are the perfect companion for almost any application. With a close-up distance of 50 cm, the Papilio series occupies a special and unique position in this respect.

50 cm macro function
With the unique macro function, observation is now possible not only at long distances. Especially in the close-up range, butterflies, flowers and insects provide many interesting objects

Multiple coating on all lenses

Optimum light transmission is one of the most important aspects for the visual quality of binoculars. This is also the focus of the new technologies for the current PENTAX Sport Optics series. For example, the "Full Multi-Coating" of all lenses is considered the new standard coating. It improves light transmission and contrasts while minimizing reflections and providing excellent color fidelity.

Aspherical lens elements

These specially manufactured lenses reduce aberrations to a minimum, and are responsible for sharp and brilliant image reproduction right to the edges. The U-series aspherical hybrid lenses not only enable good imaging performance, they also allow for a compact and lightweight design.

Internal focusing

Internal focusing protects the binoculars from dust, foreign bodies and moisture. This ensures functionality over a long period of use.

Quality for years to come

To ensure that the enjoyment of all binoculars remains undiminished, RICOH IMAGING provides a 30-year warranty on PENTAX Sport Optics products.
